Weekly Photo Challenge: Purple

purple sisters

It’s very obvious that we are sisters! We love the same color! Look at the shade of our dresses! This photo was taken at a friend’s house when he invited us to have Sabbath lunch. It was really unforgettable!

But it’s more obvious that I’m a nature-buff butterfly 🙂 This picture is one of the most picturesque scenery I’ve ever seen. A view of tranquil, inviting me to come and rest from the hustle and bustle of city life. This makes me long for heaven, where thorns and thistles don’t exist; where leaves and plants don’t wither. Nature truly speaks of God’s unfathomable love!

“God is love” is written upon every opening bud, upon every spire of grass.

Nature testifies to our Father’s deep love.” Steps to Christ p. 8

…Not far from home! O blessed thought!
The traveler’s lonely heart to cheer;
Which oft a healing balm has brought,
And dried the mourner’s tear.
Then weep no more, since we shall meet
Where weary footsteps never roam –
Our trials past, our joys complete,
Safe in our Father’s home.
